I am Dominyka, an artist, animator and illustrator from Lithuania.

I tend to create in different medias regarding collective memory, liminal spaces or yearnful reminiscences: toys, candies or playgrounds from bygone days.

Autoethnography that is connected by examining kinship ties, archiving memories and creating memory "documents" as a kind of family "journalism". In creation processes these methods attract me, followed by the discoveries of a forgotten photo albums, cassette tapes or a rotten chest left in the basement - their examination/appropriation and absorption in a way, calms curiosity and cumulates self-awareness.
